As per European law, seat belts must be worn at all times in a coach in the Netherlands. We comply to the national seat belt regulations relating to coach hire services.
Our coaches carry First Aid Kits which are sealed so that we know when any items has been used. As part of our driver's daily checklist they ensure that the First Aid Kit is in place and correctly sealed. The Kit is also checked at our regular preventative maintenance inspections.
All of our coaches for hire carry fire extinguishers. These are sealed so we know it hasn't been used. The driver checks this daily and ensures the extinguisher is at the right place and correctly sealed. The fire extinguisher is also checked as part of our regular preventative maintenance inspections. Our drivers make passengers aware of fire exits before each departure.
The maintenance of our coaches is highest priority and therefore we carry out all vehicle maintenance in our own garage by our own service staff members of well-educated expert bus-engineers. Vehicle maintenance records are maintained by our Transport Managers. As a precondition of our operators licence vehicles have to undertake preventative maintenance inspections regulary and these inspections are also carried out by our own engineers.
The company operates a defect reporting system. Our drivers generate daily coach reports and any defects and problem gets identified and rectified as soon as possible.
Our coachess carry safety packs which include Hazard Warning Triangles and a High Visibility Safety Vests. The safety packs are legal requirements in some parts of Europe.
